Man dies after tractor overturns

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal tractor crash in Co. Kilkenny.

The single-vehicle road traffic collision occurred in the Ballyogan area of Graignamanagh, in the county on Monday, October 5th at approximately 3:45 pm.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the collision that occurred when a tractor overturned on the Main Road.

A male, aged in his 50s, was taken to St Luke’s Hospital in a serious condition, after his tractor overturned, as reported by us here.

Gardaí confirmed earlier today (Tuesday, October 13th) that the man has since passed away.

Appeal for information

Gardaí at Thomastown are appealing for any witnesses to this collision, or for road users who may have camera footage who were travelling in the area last Monday between 3.15pm and 4pm, to make this available to them.
