A single-vehicle collision involving a jeep and a trailer transporting livestock occurred in Co. Mayo earlier this morning (Monday, October 19th).
The incident occurred on the R323, Kiltimagh Knock road, at approximately 8am.
Gardaí attended the scene of the crash and closed the road for two hours to conduct an investigation.
According to sources, jeep and trailer skid off the road in wet and slippery conditions.
