Heavy cattle an ‘exceptional trade’ at Carnew Mart

Just under 900 cattle passed through the rings at Carnew Mart on Saturday (October 17^th), according to David Quinn.

Speaking following the general cattle said, the mart manager said: “A good entry of 870 head met an excellent trade with plenty of farmer customers.”

“Heavy beef cattle met an exceptional trade with heavy bullocks selling to €1,870 for an 800kg Limousin”
