Quinn Property, has for sale, a “compact” 25-acre holding in Carrignamuck, Knockananna, Co Wicklow.

The firm is seeking €125,000 for the holding, which equates to €5,000/acre for the lands in a village which is “the centre of the dispersed farming area”.

Commenting on the listing, a spokesperson for the property firm said: “The land is approached via a very short laneway off the public road.”

“The land is slightly elevated and in one division. It is ideally suitable for forestry or upland grazing,” the agent added.

The lands, close to the Carrignamuck crossroad, are 6kmm from Knockananna and Moyne and 12kms from Aughrim. Knockananna village lies close to the border between C. Wicklow and Carlow.

Furthermore, the village also has amenities such as GAA grounds, a grocery shop and a church.

‘Charming’ country cottage in Co Mayo

The property firm is seeking €30,000 for the 2-bed, 1-bathroom cottage in Coogue Middle, Ballyhaunis.

The property is a short drive to Ballyhaunis, Knock, Ireland West Airport Knock, Castlerea, Claremorris, or Kilkelly.
