Weather: Will the rain continue?

It will be mostly cloudy this morning (Monday, July 27th), with some rain, mainly in the north and eastern coasts, according to Met Éireann.

Drier and brighter conditions are set to extend from the west this morning and in the afternoon, with isolated showers to follow.

Temperatures will reach between 15 to 19 degrees with lower values of 8 to 12 degrees expected tonight.

Scattered showers will continue tonight with some dry and clear spells.

Tuesday – It will be a mostly dry day with some sunny spells; however, the afternoon will bring scattered showers, the national forecaster has warned.

Most of the showers will occur across Atlantic counties with highs of 14 to 17 degrees. It will be cool, calm, and mostly clear tomorrow night with lows of 6 to 9 degrees.

Wednesday – Met Éireann predicts that the day will begin with hazy sunshine in the north and east, with cloudier conditions expected across the west and south-west.

Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will move in off the Atlantic, spreading elsewhere later.

Temperatures will reach between 14 to 17 degrees on Wednesday afternoon with lows of 11 to 14 degrees during the night.

There are further outbreaks of rain and drizzle expected on Wednesday night, with the possibility of some very heavy falls later.

Thursday – The Irish Meteorological Service has said that the day will begin with warm, humid and rather breezy conditions with the last of any overnight rain set to clear northwards.

It will be dry for the day across most areas with some sunshine and highs of 19 to 23 degrees.

It will be largely dry and humid on Thursday night with lows of 13 to 15 degrees.

Friday – Another warm and humid day with hazy sunny spells and highs of 19 to 24 degrees; some showery bursts of rain will occur also, with highs of 19 to 24 degrees.
