Weather: Heavy shows with high temperatures

Weather September 2021

According to Met Éireann, it will be overcast with patchy outbreaks of light rain and drizzle in Ulster, Connacht, and west Munster today (Friday, September 24th, 2021).

The national forecaster predicts that there will be “a good deal of dry weather” further east with sunshine in the far east or south-east.

Temperatures are set to reach between 16 to 19 degrees, with slightly higher values in the south-east.

It will be humid tonight, with cloudy conditions and some light rain or drizzle, mostly in the west and north-west.

Mist and fog patches will develop with temperatures to remain above 13 to 15 degrees.

Saturday, September 25th:

According to the national forecaster, tomorrow morning will see a cloudy or dull start with some patchy light rain or drizzle.

Cloud will lift during the day, paving the way for some sunny spells and isolated drizzle.

Temperatures will remain high in the region of 17 to 20 degrees.

Meanwhile, it will be mainly dry in many areas tomorrow night with clear spells and some light rain or drizzle on western and southern coasts.

It will turn breezier overnight with temperatures, once again, remaining above 14 to 15 degrees in most areas.

Weather September 2021: Sunday

The national forecaster reports that rain will move into the west of Ireland on Sunday morning. Showers, some heavy at times, will spread eastwards as the day progresses.

Temperatures will range from 16 to 20 degrees, with values to fall as rain clears from the west in the afternoon.

Sunday night will see rain continue, with further heavy falls expected as it clears into the Irish Sea overnight.

A mix of clear spells and showers will follow from the west, some heavy.

It will be cooler than recent nights, with temperatures to range from 7 to 10 degrees in moderate south-west winds.
