‘Silage weather’ to continue before becoming unsettled

Weather report for Ireland for June 2021

According to Met Éireann, it will be mostly dry today (Monday, June 28th), with a mix of cloud and warm spells of sunshine.

Temperatures will reach between 19 to 21 degrees, with slightly lower values of 16 to 18 degrees in parts of the west and north.

It will be dry with clear spells and some mist patches tonight. Temperatures will drop between 6 to 9 degrees, slightly milder in the south-east.

Tuesday, June 29th

It will be warm and dry on Tuesday, with sunny spells and highs of 21 to 21 degrees in many areas.

However, it will be slightly cooler in coastal regions in the north and west, with values to range from 16 to 20 degrees.

It will be mostly dry and clear tomorrow night with some mist and lows of 10 to 13 degrees in light, northerly breezes.

Wednesday, June 30th

According to the national forecaster, these conditions will prevail on Wednesday with highs of 21 to 24 degrees in light north-east breezes.

It will be slightly cooler in western and northern parts of Connacht and Ulster, where temperatures will peak between 16 to 20 degrees.

Meanwhile, it will be dry with some clear spells and mist patches with lows of 10 to 13 degrees on Wednesday night.

Thursday, July 1st

Furthermore, it will continue to be warm on Thursday, with good sunshine through the morning.

It will be cloudier during the afternoon and evening with the possibility of some showers – most likely in parts of Connacht and Leinster.

Temperatures will reach between 20 to 24 degrees in light variable breezes. According to Met Éireann, Thursday night will be dry and close with highs of 12 to 15 degrees.

Weather report: Friday, July 2nd

It will be dry on Friday, with some sunny spells and scattered showers by the afternoon.

Furthermore, it will rain in the south-west later in the evening, before gradually spreading northeastwards through the evening and night.

It will continue to be warm with highs of 20 to 24 degrees and light to moderate south-east breezes.

According to Met Éireann, current indications suggest that it will be mostly cloudy on Saturday, with rain to move northwards and showers to follow from the south-west.

It will be cooler with highs of 17 to 20 degrees in light to moderate south-east winds.

Met Éireann stated that “it looks like Sunday next will bring further showers with temperatures of about 17 to 20 degrees”.
