Forecast: Silage weather this week?

Weather forecast for June 2021: 

According to Met Éireann, it will be generally cloudy today (Tuesday, June 8th), with patchy light rain and drizzle along southern and western coasts.

Sunshine will break as the day progresses, although it will remain largely cloudy with rain at times. Temperatures will reach between 15 to 20 degrees before dropping between 13 to 15 degrees tomorrow night.

It will be rather cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle to spread eastwards across the country. Rain will turn persistent at times – particularly over Ulster. Temperatures will range from 13 to 15 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.

Wednesday, June 9th, 2021

Tomorrow will see a cloudy start with some scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Rain will turn patchy through the day, with sunny spells to develop.

Cloudier conditions are expected across the west and north-west, with lingering mist and drizzle at the coast.

It will be warm and humid with highs of 17 to 22 degrees – with slightly lower values along western and southern coasts.

Wednesday night will see cloudy conditions and rain prevail in the south and west coast, remaining largely dry elsewhere. Again, temperatures will remain high in the region of 12 to 15 degrees.

Thursday, June 10th, 2021

According to the national forecaster, again, it will be warm, humid and breezy with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle.

Meanwhile, it will be drier across the country’s eastern half, with sun to break through at times. Temperatures will climb between 17 to 23 degrees – highest values in the east and north-east.

Again, further rain and drizzle expected after dark in Atlantic counties, drier conditions elsewhere.

Friday, June 11th

Met Éireann predicts that Friday will begin mostly cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle to fizzle out through the afternoon with sunny spells to develop.

It will feel slightly fresher with highs of 15 to 21 degrees in the south-east/ Winds will be light to moderate westerly, becoming variable in direction later.

According to Met Éireann, current indications suggest warm weather for next weekend with the best of the sunshine in the east and south.
