Alleycats TV has been commissioned by BBC 3 to make a pilot episode featuring a new television format.
Created by the Derry / Londonderry production company, this original format will see two teams of three tractor enthusiasts battle it out in a test of their driving skills.
This fun and agri-themed programme will be as light-hearted as it is competitive, according to producers.
Speaking to That’s Farming, Niamh Minihan, producer, said: “Absolutely anyone with an enthusiasm for tractor driving can apply, as it’s BBC 3 we are looking for the younger generation to show off their skills. We can’t wait!”
Casting phase of production
The Alleycats production team will be in the casting phase for another week or so.

All tractor drivers, of any gender, from the Ulster region, between the ages of 16 and 30 are welcome to apply to be on the show.
