Emerald Isle Beef Producers (EIBP) has secured a contract for Angus-cross steers and heifers for export, a spokesperson has confirmed to That’s Farming.
70 under 14-month-old Angus-cross heifers are being sought for the consignment. “They must be good square heifers from quality Friesian cows. The heifers can be up to 400 kg but not exceeding 400kg.” the spokesperson explained.
The beef producer organisation is also seeking 70 Angus-cross-Freisian steers, aged under 18-months and under 350kgs.
