Grass harvest
The grass harvest with a BiG X 1100 is part of his core business. “The window in Northern Ireland for cutting silage is getting smaller. That is why everybody wondered why we went for a 1100.”
“The window, because of the weather in Northern Ireland, is very unpredictable. That’s why we went, so, you have a small window, you can put a lot of acres in and a small windows of hours, acres per hours.”
He is impressed with its crop flow, fuel efficiency, ease of maintenance and road and field comfort.
