A van towing a trailer was stopped for a speeding offence on the M7 yesterday morning (Monday, September 14th).
When the vehicle was brought to a halt, Laois Roads Policing Unit discovered that a tyre on the trailer was “excessively worn”.
“The vehicle was escorted off the motorway where the tyre was replaced before their journey could continue. Fixed Charge Notice issued.” a Garda spokesperson explained.
