Van driver (20s) airlifted after collision with tractor

A male (20) was taken to hospital yesterday (Thursday, October 22nd) following a collision with a tractor.

In a statement to That’s Farming, a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí attended a two-vehicle RTC involving a tractor and van, that occurred on the N77 at approximately 9:40 am yesterday morning, Thursday 22nd October.”

“A male in his 20s (driver of van) was taken to St James Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.” the spokesperson concluded.
