Munster, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly and Galway are under a status yellow warning until 7am tomorrow (Tuesday, August 18th).
The alert, issued by Met Éireann, is valid for fourteen counties from 7am this morning (Monday, August 17th).
“Today and overnight, heavy or thundery rain with localised flooding and accumulations of 25 to 40mm in places.” the national forecaster warned.
