Kerry farmer welcomes unexpected triplet calves

A Kerry-based dairy farm is celebrating the arrival of triplet calves, writes Catherina Cunnane.

The two heifers and one bull calves are sired by Mystic from World Wide Sires Ireland and are out of a ZPB-bred dam. 

In a tweet, Ronan Siochru of Dingle Holsteins explained: “We had a big surprise early this morning with triplets. First time having triplets hee on the farm.”

“Two girls and a boy, all doing well and their mother too.” the tweet added.
