Gardaí stopped the driver of a tractor in Newtownmountkennedy recently.
Using its mobility app, officers discovered that the agricultural vehicle had not been taxed in 5,459 days.
In a tweet, a Garda spokesperson said: “Make hay when the sun shines…but make sure your vehicle is taxed.”
“This tractor was stopped recently by roads policing in Newtownmountkennedy and they discovered that this vehicle hadn’t been taxed in over 5000 days.”
