Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire in a field involving a tractor-slurry spreader combination.
The blaze broke out in Boyton, on the Devon and Cornwall border, on Wednesday afternoon (September 2nd), shortly are 3pm.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Resue said: “One fire engine from Holsworthy was assisted by one fire engine from Launceston and a water carrier from Liskeard, at an incident at the above location.”
“The fire involved a tractor towing a slurry spreader within a field, and crews used two sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.”
