Agents seeking €1.9m for 124ac farm in one block with outbuildings

A large holding comprising circa 124ac/50ha in Co Tipperary has just hit the market.

Joint selling agents, REA Stokes and Quirke and P.F. Quirke & Co. Ltd are seeking €1.9 million for the property in Sladagh, Fethard.

According to the agents, the land is currently a mix of tillage and grass with a small area planted.

They view this as “a rare opportunity to purchase a substantial block of land in an excellent location”.

It has “extensive” road frontage onto two roads and provides easy access to Clonmel and Fethard.

The holding benefits from an old-style farmyard that briefly comprises a large concrete yard with a five-span open-sided roll and a top haybarn with a five-span lean-to there off.

According to the agent, there are concrete floors and cattle pens.

Besides, it also has a three-span roll-top haybarn with stables there off with a range of older farm buildings, cattle handling facilities and silage pits.

The agents view the remains of an old residence centrally located thereon as an “added benefit”.

The property boasts “fantastic” with “great” views of The Comeraghs, Slievenamon and the surrounding countryside.

The property firm is seeking €265,000 for the residence on 0.26ac in the “fantastic location” of Garrabeg.

Furthermore, there is also an option to purchase a site at the property’s rear.
