A thief followed a milk delivery van and stole produce over the course of the weekend.
The incident, involving Bannister Farm Dairy, occurred in Lancashire on Saturday (April 4th).
In a post on social media on Saturday, the owners of the farm said: “Unfortunately, this morning, someone has followed our milk delivery van from the railway crossing in Parbold down to the Stocks Tavern taking deliveries of milk, cream, eggs, butter, yoghurts, cheese, fruit juices and water off people’s doorsteps.”
“Several customers have contacted us to let us know that they have not received their delivery.”
“Many of them were in distress, some in tears as they are self-isolating and dependent on our service at the moment.” the social media post added.
