Met Éireann has issued two separate status orange wind warnings ahead of the arrival of Storm Ciara.
The first warning, which has been issued for Donegal and Mayo, will come into effect at 12pm tomorrow and will remain in place until 4pm.
The second warning is valid for Galway from 1pm until 6pm tomorrow (Saturday, February 8th).
“In advance of the arrival of Storm Ciara on Sunday, south to southwest winds on Saturday will reach mean speeds of 65-80km/h with gusts of up to 120 km/h.”
