A smaller entry went under the hammer at Baltinglass Mart’s sheep sale on Saturday (June 20th), according to Tom Coleman.
He reported that prices held steady for fat lambs, but trade was slightly easier for lighter lots.

- X8 44kg – €110;
- X2 45kg – €106;
- X5 42kg – €100;
- X3 41kg – €98;
- X14 41kg – €90;
- X2 40kg – €90;
- X10 37kg – €80;
- X6 33kg – €75;
- X8 34kg – €70;
- X14 26kg – €61.
Other categories:
- Fat ewes – €65-€117;
- Ewes with lambs at foot – €120-€160.
