Spring Stars Sale
Friday, May 27th, 2022, marks the return of the Spring Stars export sale at Beattie’s Pedigree Centre in Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Some 58 lots will come under the hammer at the sale, which comprises a mixture of ewes, gimmers, and lambs.
On the night, “some of the country’s top flocks,” including, Artnagullion, Blackwater, Deerfin, Forkins, Glencoy, Glenpark, Lakeview and Lisbane, will offer sheep for sale.
Breeds:
- Beltex;
- Charollais;
- Blue Texel;
- Badger Face;
- Blue Faced Leicester;
- Dutch Spotted;
- Suffolk;
- Texel.

A spokesperson told That’s Farming editor, Catherina Cunnane:
“These flocks have produced multiple sale-topping lots and show winners in the past, providing buyers with the opportunity to purchase some of the finest genetics in Northern Ireland.”
“Prospective buyers can both attend the sale on the night or pre-register using the sale app, Mart Eye. All lots sold on the night exceeding 500gns will lucks penny insured.”
“All sheep are eligible for export to ROI or GB on the night, and transport can be arranged. The sale, which is one not to be missed, starts at 7 pm,” the spokesperson concluded.
