Spot flooding expected as yellow rainfall warning issued

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for seven counties.

The alert came into effect in Dublin, Cavan, Longford, Louth, Kildare, Meath and Monaghan at 8am this morning (Wednesday, June 17th) and will expire at 2pm this afternoon. 

“Further heavy downpours moving westwards with spot flooding.” the national forecaster warned.
