The Irish Shows Association (ISA) has released details of over 100 events that will take place in Ireland across 2022.

The ISA is the officially recognised body representing Irish shows on the island of Ireland.

More than 130 affiliated agricultural shows run throughout the summer and into the autumn every year.

For the purpose of the article, we have compiled a list of ag shows that will take place in September 2022:

  • Beltra Agricultural Show: Saturday, September 3rd, 2022;
  • Scarriff Show: Saturday, September 3rd, 2022;
  • Mountbellew Agricultural Show: Saturday, September 3rd, 2022;
  • Ballinrobe Agricultural Show: Sunday, September 4th, 2022;
  • Bantry Show: Sunday, September 4th, 2022;
  • Royal Meath Show (Trim): Sunday, September 4th, 2022;
  • Taispeantas Cois Fharraige (An Spidéal): Sunday, September 4th, 2022;
  • Strokestown Show: Saturday, September 10th – Sunday, September 11th, 2022;
  • Clonaslee Livestock and Agricultural Produce Show: Sunday, September 11th, 2022;
  • Connemara Pony of the Year Charity Show: Sunday, September 18th, 2022;
  • Irish Pony Breeders’ Show: Friday, September 23rd, 2022;

  • Glenamaddy District Ploughing and Agricultural Show: Sunday, October 2nd, 2022;

Meanwhile, the Northern Ireland Shows Association has confirmed the dates of thirteen agricultural shows that will take place in 2022.

According to the body, Killyleagh and Newry agricultural shows will not occur this year.

Show season will kick off in mid-May in Northern Ireland, with the calendar set to draw to a close in early December.
