Kelly’s of Newport (Artisan Butchers) Ltd. is recalling a batch of Kelly’s Hazlett as an incorrect use-by date (23/04/2020) is labelled on the outer display box.
The correct use-by date (23/03/2020) is on the internal wrapping of the unit inside the 280g pack, according to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI).
In a statement, A FSAI spokesperson said: “The implicated batch [with code: 0443] may be unsafe to eat after 23/03/2020.”
“Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch.”
