Roscommon Mart report – cattle prices – 23-07-2021
According to Maura Quigley, a larger entry went under the hammer at Roscommon Mart on Friday, June 23rd, 2021.
The mart manager reported a “strong trade for all classes” at the mart’s weekly cattle sale.
“Dry cows ranged from an average of €2.00 per kilo up to €2.36 per kilo. Buyers continue to be anxious for stock with customers active both online and at ringside.”
“Heifers ranged from an average of €2.54 per kilo up to €3.22 per kilo. Bullock numbers were small due to next week’s special sale.”
“Lots made from an average of €2.31 per kilo up to €2.66 per kilo,” Quigley added.
