Roscommon Mart – cattle prices – 11-06-2021
According to Maura Quigley, a similar-sized entry to the previous week went under the hammer at Roscommon Mart on Friday, June 11th.
Speaking following the general cattle sale of bullocks, heifers, weanlings and cull cows, the mart manager said: “There was a super trade for all classes with only one heifer unsold.”
“Heifers ranged from an average of €2.43 per kilo up to €3.03 per kilo. Weanling heifers made from an average of €2.45 per kilo up to €2.76 per kilo.”
“Weanling bulls made from an average of €2.39 per kilo up to €2.91 per kilo. Dry cows fetched from an average of €2.08 per kilo up to €2.43 per kilo,” she added.
