The property firm is seeking €169,000 for the land in Rockingham, Boyle, which equates to circa €9,260/acre.
The agent said that this plot was once part of the Land Commission divide of the Rockingham Estate.
According to the selling agent, the land, held in one field, is of “the highest quality” and has “good” services – including water – and access.
It benefits from “free-draining soils over a limestone base” and also has “good” road frontage.
The selling agent suggested that “this property would make a great start for any young farmer or be an excellent addition to any holding”.
The property is just off the N4, between Carrick on Shannon and Boyle in what Brady described as “a very accessible” location.
The estate agent confirmed that the adjoining residence on c. 4.4-acres is also on market and can be purchased if the buyer prefers.
