DM Auctions LTD, the auctioneering firm, which is a sister company of Dowra Mart, has a number of residential properties on the market this month.

Firstly, it has a three-roomed traditional cottage with a stone shed on 1.4-acres on land for sale at Garvagh Glebe, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim for €35,000.

The property is 9km from Dromahair and is a 12km drive from Drumkeeran.

According to Tony Feeney of the Manorhamilton-based company, the property is “in need of complete restoration”.

He explained that it has a water supply and electricity, but does not have a septic tank.

Meanwhile, a higher price tag of €115,000, it has a three-bedroom cottage on a large site in Largandill, Ballinagleara, Co Leitrim.

Its accommodation includes three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room.

According to Feeney, this prefabricated built property” is in need of some upgrading and modernisation”.

However, he says that it benefits from all services and has a stone shed and mature gardens, with room for expansion if a purchaser so desires.

The property sits along the R207 Dowra to Drumshanbo Road and is a 30-minute drive from Carrick-on-Shannon.

Meanwhile, at €275,000 in Sooey, Ballygawley, Co Sligo, it has what Feeney described as a “bright, spacious and modern” detached dormer style bungalow on a large circa 1-acre site.

However, externally, the driveway and garden are “in need of work,” the selling agent says.

He commented that despite this, the property is “well finished” internally and there is a large, floored attic that the purchaser could possibly be convert into rooms in the future if they require.

Its accommodation includes a sitting room, a living room, a kitchen/dining room, a utility room, three bedrooms and a main bedroom with an ensuite.

Some of this property’s internal features include a Jacuzzi bath, laminated flooring, tiled flooring, and walk-in wardrobes.
