The sale of a “prime” 60-acre residential farm in Grantstown, Ballacolla, Co Laois is set to take place through an online auction in November of this year.

Hennessy Auctioneers is handling the sale of what it has described as “a well-maintained farm set out in one block”.

The property firm will offer the property for sale in the following lots:

• Circa 60-acres of “top-quality” land with a farmyard;
• 2: 4-bed bungalow on a circa 1-acre site with a “well-maintained” mature garden
• Lot 3: The entire (lots 1 and 2 combined).

The farm is in an area of “highly productive” arable land and is currently in grass production.

It has fencing, water and natural shelter laid on throughout.

The land comes with a “charming” four-bedroom bungalow at the road, which is surrounded by a “well” maintained mature garden.

Meanwhile, the same firm, Hennessy Auctioneers, will put a 108-acre farm holding in Keeloge North, Camross, Co Laois, under the hammer next month.

It will offer the “sizeable” block of grazing ground in one division for sale through an online auction on Friday, October 28^th, 2022, at 3p m.

The firm will offer the farm for sale in up to four lots:

• Circa 28.5 acres of agricultural land;
• Circa 52.4 acres with a farm yard;
• Circa 27.9 acres of Agricultural Land;
• The entire (lots 1, 2 & 3 combined).

According to a spokesperson for the firm, the farmyard contains two four-span slatted tanks under lean-to roofs, and there is an open silage pit with walls (approx. 80 x 40).

The yard also contains several loose sheds and some old stone buildings.
