Police in Ballymena have received reports of males “in a jeep driving in and out” of farmyards in the Cullybackey area.
Officers were in the vicinity at the time and successfully stopped the vehicle and conducted searches.
In a post on social media, a spokesperson for Police Mid & East Antrim said: “One of the males had an offensive weapon with him and was dealt with accordingly.”
“Both males were also dealt with in relation to a breach of Covid regulations. Once again, we would like to thank the public for their calls to alert us to this.” the spokesperson concluded.
