‘Quality stock are selling well’

Prices held firm at Loughrea Mart, according to a spokesperson who grouped a “very good” yard of cattle.

“Quality stock are selling well with plenty of demand for stock.” the spokesperson added.

Bullocks:

  • 1 CHX – 395kg – €940;
  • 1 CHX – 485kg – €1,130;
  • 1 CHX – 520kg – €1,190;
  • 1 LMX – 540kg – €1,260;
  • 1 LMX – 575kg – €1,300;
  • 1 LMX – 655kg – €1,480;
  • 1 LMX – 720kg – €1,510;
  • 1 LMX – 790kg – €1,630.

Heifers:

  • 1 LMX – 315kg – €840;
  • 1 HEX – 435kg – €970;
  • 1 CHX – 505kg – €1,190;
  • 1 LMX – 515kg – €1,230;
  • 1 CHX – 670kg – €1,520;
  • 1 CHX – 690kg – €1,640;
  • 1 CHX – 700kg – €1,570.

Cull cows:

  • 1 AUX – 500kg – €580.
