Properties on the market from €20,000-€50,000

In this week’s segment, we take a look at properties on the market for €50,000 or under in Co Limerick, Sligo, Mayo and Clare.

Sligo

First up (main image) with a guide price of €50,000 in Bunninadden, Co Sligo, and for sale through Murphy and Sons Auctioneers LTD is a derelict cottage on circa 1.1-acres.

The property also has a cottage, which, according to the agent, requires “extensive” renovations but presents an opportunity to develop a “beautiful” home.

It is located in Quarryfield, within the village of Bunninadden, offering “easy access to all amenities”.

Limerick

Also, on the market at the same guide price is a BER-exempt farmhouse, in need or refurbishment, on circa 0.5-acre in Garryspillane, Co Limerick.

According to Joe Wheeler of Wheeler Auctioneers LTD, the property offers “great” views, boasts a main road location and has a “realistic” reserve.

Meanwhile, DNG Michael Boland, has for sale, a detached cottage on circa 0.75-acres in Attymass, Ballina, Co Mayo.

According to the selling agent, the BER-exempt cottage, in need of “complete” restoration, comprises three rooms.

The property is located along the Wild Atlantic Way and, in the selling agent’s view, makes for “a very attractive option for a restoration enthusiast”.

Clare

For sale, later next month via online auction, is a two-bed detached cottage on circa 3-acres in Co Clare.

O’Connor Murphy has placed an AMV (advised minimum value) of €20,000 on the property in Cappantymore, Meelick.

According to the selling agent, the property is “ideally located” for anyone looking to live in a rural setting and yet within “easy” access to many amenities.

A spokesperson for the firm said: “Whilst in need of redevelopment works, there is a charm to this home that for anyone wishing to enjoy country life but still within easy reach of Limerick city.”
