Numbers presented for sale at Castlerea Mart remained strong this week, according to Brendan Egan.
He noted that demand for quality stock held well, while plainer-types were harder sold.
“In the weanling rings, demand for the quality calves was on par with previous weeks while in the heifer and cow rings prices were similar to last week.”
