Carnew’s general cattle sale on Saturday, September 12th attracted an entry of 830 cattle and 40 calves, according to David Quinn.
He reported that trade remained “very strong” for quality continental lots and all classes of beef cattle. “Lighter, plainer Friesian-bred cattle were easier by €10-€20/head.”
