PICTURES: Fire brigade save heifer stuck in mud

Members of the Shropshire Fire and Rescue were recently called to an incident involving a cow on Saturday, June 13th.

2 fire appliances were dispatched including the rescue tender to deal with the incident.

A spokesperson for the Wellington Fire Twitter page reported that a cow had become stuck in the mud and needed to be lifted to safety.

Members of the fire brigade were aided by animal rescue specialists Blue Watch Wellington.

Using specialist animal rescue equipment, they successfully removed the animal from the dangerous situation.
