Spring lambs were back €3-€5/head at Dowra Mart’s sheep sale on Friday (May 29th), according to a mart spokesperson.
However, heavy cull ewes and hoggets held their prices from the previous week, making €90-€134/head and €85-€134/head respectively.
Spring lambs earned between €112-€130/head on the day, while ewes with lambs at foot made from €129 a top price of €245.
