Approximately 200-250 lots will go under the hammer at Hennessy Auctioneers’ monthly farm and plant machinery auction this Saturday (October 24th).
The auction, at the old mart in Portlaoise, will be held entirely online on LSL due to level 5 restrictions.
Viewing and bidding
The catalogue will be updated daily on the LSL app. Gates are open all this week from 9am to 5pm for entry drop off and viewing. The yard will also be open for viewing only on Saturday morning from 8am to 11am followed by the sale at 11am sharp.
John Hennessy of Hennessy Auctioneers recommends that people come view the items before the auction and if they want to bid on an item, they will need to register to bid on the LSL app.
A €250 refundable bidding deposit is required to bid online. “For those who are not tech-savvy, we will also accept proxy bids on larger items before the auction starts.”
For successful buyers, the yard will be open Tuesday, October 27th to Friday, October 30th for collections.
Strict Covid-10 protocols must be adhered to while on-site viewing items – social distancing, facemask wearing and use of hand sanitiser are mandatory.
