New competition-focused site for farmers

Two farmers from the south-west of Ireland have created a competition-focused, interactive online website for the agricultural community.

All competitions, which are held by Irish Farm Draws, have one guaranteed winner, according to the creators.

Speaking to Catherina Cunnane, editor of That’s Farming, they said: “All the prizes for our competitions consist of farm machinery, farming implements and more.”

“We are conscious of driving value, engagement and fun for our entrants so these are practical prizes, along with some fun novel farm tools which we will give away to our loyal friends.”

“With that in mind, our first competition is a brand new Honda Quad. We feel it’s important to offer a high-value prize that would be a financial burden if a farmer had to invest in one.”

“We know the struggles of farming and we hope that this site can help put a smile on our lucky winners’ faces, along with giving everyone the opportunity to enter.”

The duo will commence a weekly blog next month as part of their ongoing site development. “Part of this involvement will be to share our friend stories.”
“We believe in the farming community and want this to be an outlet to share your experiences along with the opportunity to win farm prizes.”

“To show our appreciation to That’s Farming, we are delighted to offer everyone, who likes and shares our pages on Facebook, a chance to win a Cliptster – battery farm clippers.

“We look forward to interacting with you all through our social media platforms where will be frequently updating our competitions, blogs and showcasing our winners,” they concluded.
