The National Car Testing Service (NCTS) has announced that their services are to recommence from Monday, June 8th.
15 test centres will be opened as part of a phased reopening.
Owners of vehicles that had a test due date prior to the 28th of March are now invited to make a booking.
Test centres
The test centres that will reopen are as follows:
- Cork – Little Island
- Cork – Blarney
- Northpoint 1 & 2, Dublin
- Deansgrange, Dublin
- Fonthill, Dublin
- Galway
- Limerick
- Waterford
- Letterkenny
- Athlone
- Ballina
- Naas
- Drogheda
- Derrybeg
The reopening is subject to the Government’s approval of the start of phase 2 of the roadmap for reopening society and businesses. Detailed measures have been put in place in each test centre to prevent the spread of the virus to both customers and staff.
