Met Éireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for three counties over the coming days.
The warning is effective in Galway and Mayo from 9 pm Thursday (May 21st) until 6 pm Friday (May 22nd).
In Donegal, the warning will be in place from 6 am Friday (May 22nd) until 9 pm on the same day.
Met Éireann reported that “south to southeast winds, veering southwesterly, will reach mean speeds of 45 to 65 km/h with gusts of 85 to 110 km/h, mainly in coastal areas and on exposed hills and mountains.”
