‘It is possible to see into four counties from almost any position on the farm’

Meath house for sale

A listing at Drumbaragh, Kells, County Meath offers what Raymond Potterton Auctioneers regard as a “unique opportunity to purchase a gorgeous traditional farmstead in an excellent location”.

The selling agents revealed that “it is possible to see into four counties from almost any position on the farm”.

It will put this “absolutely superb” residential farm, extending to c. 44-acres under the hammer, in an online auction on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022.

The property is in what the agents described as an “excellent” location, being a short distance outside Kells and near the M3.

Commenting on the listing, they said:

“The residence provides three bedrooms and, while in need of modernisation, is a solid structure on an elevated site with a gorgeous mature front garden and private back yard.”

“The farmyard consists of a two-link hay shed with lean-to and two traditional old barns with yard space and a muck shed.”

Furthermore, the agent added that the lands are in three main divisions and consist of “high, dry” fertile Meath ground.

The agent explained that the lands are “well fenced” and are suitable for any agricultural purpose. However, the agent noted that they have been particularly successful in  finishing beef cattle.
