Guiding at €60,000 is an 8.5ac plot of agricultural land for sale in Moate, Ballyhaunis, Co Mayo.

APP Kirrane Auctioneering is handling the sale of the land, which is between Ballyhaunis and Claremorris.

It is “within a short drive” of Ireland West Airport Knock, Galway, Castlebar, Sligo and Roscommon. Shops, schools, and a church are a short drive away.

The property firm suggested that “this plot ideal for hobby farming, with the possibility of constructing a one-off dwelling offering a generous amount of land for horses, pets etc”.

“This impressive piece of land offers multiple options. This plot of land was ploughed and re-seeded. The plot is in six well-fenced with water,” the agent added.

27ac farm ‘ideal’ for young farmer

A 27-acre farm is one unit in “the heart of hunting country” has just hit the market in Co Galway.

APP Kirrane Auctioneering is handling the sale of what it describes as a “magnificent holding in a prime location”.

The property is just one mile from the Caherlavine roundabout and convenient to the town of Loughrea.

There is a two-hundred-and-fifteen-foot frontage onto the main Athenry/Loughrea road.

The agent confirmed that this is sufficient for two dwelling houses subject to the appropriate planning approval.
