Prices peak at €11,400 at May machinery auction

Demand was “high”, with vehicles selling to £9,800 for a Claas Jaguar 860 Forage harvester, outside items peaking at £6,600 for a Kane 10-tonne tipping trailer and inside items reaching £400 for a Sisis auto rake at Ballymena Livestock Mart’s most recent auction.

Its May machinery sale, which was held last weekend, saw over 2,300 lots, both outside and inside, go under the online hammer with an overall clearance rate of over 66%.

Prices as follows:

Outside machinery and vehicles:
  • £9,800 for a Claas Jaguar 860 Forage harvester;
  • £7,000 for a 2013 Toyota Hilux;
  • £6,900 for a Matbro 200 shovel;
  • £6,600 for a Kane 10-tonne tipping trailer;
  • £6,500 for a Johnston 12-tonne tandem axle silage trailer;
  • £6,200 for a 2018 Blaney wipe-out 6.6m tractor-mounted weed wiper;
  • £5,200 for a Massey Ferguson 590 with loader;
  • £4,900 for a Komatsu PC60 digger;
  • £4,700 for a Fordson Dexta tractor;
  • £4,600 for a Salt Spreader;
  • £4,500 for a 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser;
  • £4,300 for a 1989 John Deere 2040;
  • £4,100 for a 2013 Toyota Hilux;
  • £4,000 for a 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser;
  • £3,900 for a 2012 Toyota Hilux;
  • £3,700 for a 2014 Seat Ibiza;
  • £3,500 for an IFor Williams 3 horse box;
  • £3,400 for a Kuhn GF642 star tedder digidrive;
  • £3,300 for a 2011 Toyota Hilux;
  • £3,200 for a Ritchie combi clamp;
  • £3,100 for a McCullough Low loader;
  • £3,000 for a 2006 Mitsubishi Shogun.
