A farmer has died following an incident at a farm in Co. Derry.
The incident happened at around 5 pm yesterday (June 8th) on the farm on the Coshquin Road on the outskirts of the city, in close proximity to the border with Donegal.
The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) is aware of the incident and an investigation is currently underway.
Sinn Fein MLA Martina Anderson said the local community had been shocked and saddened by the man’s death.
“My thoughts are with the family, friends and loved ones of the man who lost his life at this sad and difficult time.”
