Man dies after tractor he was driving overturned

A male, aged in his 70s, has died after the tractor he was driving overturned.

The incident occurred at Ballinabanogue, New Ross, Co. Wexford shortly after 10am this morning (Sunday, August 30th).

Gardaí attended the scene of the single-vehicle fatal road traffic collision.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Waterford University Hospital where a post-mortem will be conducted.

The road was closed for a technical examination, but has since re-opened to traffic.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone, who was travelling in the Ballinbanogue/Ballywilliam area, with camera footage, to come forward.
