Man airlifted to hospital after bull attack

A man has been airlifted to hospital following an incident on a farm.

It is understood that the farmer was attacked by a bull in Broughshane, Co. Antrim on Tuesday afternoon (September 15th).

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 1:04 pm on Tuesday, September 15 following reports of an incident at Knockan Road, Broughshane.

“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.” the spokesperson concluded.
