Two males were arrested over the course of the weekend after what police described as a “tactical pursuit”.
NI Roads Policing officers, operating in the Omagh area, signalled a van to stop on Saturday (June 20th).
Threw items from rear of vehicle
In a post on social media, a spokesperson for NI Road Policing and Safety, explained: “When the driver decided he didn’t want to stop for police, a tactical pursuit commenced.”
“The occupants of the van threw a number of items from the rear of the vehicle in an attempt to put off their pursuers, including exhaust parts, a spade and a car seat!”
“This was in vain and the pursuit came to a safe conclusion with two males arrested for multiple offences.” the social media post concluded.
