Hennessy Auctioneers’ monthly farm and plant machinery auction, which was scheduled to take place online yesterday (Saturday, October 24th), has been rescheduled.
Approximately 200-250 entries will go under the hammer tomorrow (Monday, October 25th), following a disruption to LSL’s services.
A spokesperson for Hennessy Auctioneers said: “Due to technical difficulties with the LSL Livestock Live app, we have rescheduled the auction to Monday, October 26th at 11 am. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
“For the people who have already registered and paid their deposit online, they will be ready to go again on Monday. Gates will be open for viewing on Monday morning from 8 am to 11 am.”
They stressed that all Covid-19 protocols must be following during viewing – social distancing, facemask wearing and the use of hand sanitiser.

A server crash
In a statement, a spokesperson for LSL, said: “LSL would like to apologise for the disruption to services on Saturday 24th October between 12 pm and 2 pm.”
“The disruption was caused by a server crash which engineers worked on and restored full service shortly after 2 pm.”
“We understand the distress and inconvenience caused by the interruption, especially during increased COVID restrictions. We wish to thank all clients and users for their patience while we restored systems to full service.” the spokesperson concluded.
