Man (30s) dies in farmyard incident

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a male (30s) received fatal injuries in a farmyard incident in County Limerick last week.

According to the authorities, the incident occurred on Thursday morning (April 1st, 2021).

Confirming the news to That’s Farming, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said:

“Gardaí are investigating a workplace death, that occurred on Thursday, April 1st, 2021 at approximately 10 a.m. at Kilgrogan, Adare, County Limerick.”

“A man (late 30s) received fatal injuries in a farmyard incident. His body was removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem will be conducted.”

“The HSA has been notified and investigations are ongoing.”
